She enjoys breaking a sweat and experimenting with different workouts like Pilates and yoga. However, she always comes back to a classic athletic, full-body workout. One of her favorite exercises is the knee drive with weights.

For this exercise, hold a dumbbell or water bottle in each hand with your palms facing inwards. Stand with your feet under your hipbones, facing forward. Shift your weight to your left leg and bring your right knee up to chest level.

Next, swing your right leg back into a lunge position, placing your foot on the floor. Immediately drive the knee forward to chest level again. Keep the weights at your sides throughout the movement. Repeat this exercise 12 to 15 times before switching sides.
